The Gays Hops-n-Schnapps family of liquor stores has long been a favorite stop at some of northeast Indiana's most popular lakes.
There are currently five Gays Hops-n-Schnapps liquor stores, with locations in Fremont, Lagrange, Auburn and two in Angola. The ingredients for the stores continued success are service, selection and everyday savings.

Wedding Showers: They're Not Just Tea Parties Anymore!
Showers used to be all women tea parties, but these days just about anything goes. Gay's has done some research and found that there are two new popular theme showers: a wine tasting theme and a stock the bar theme.
Wine Tasting Theme: Have all of the guests bring their favorite bottle of wine and serve fruit, cheese and crackers. Provide a dessert wine to serve with any sweet foods. Register for gifts that can be used for a wine tasting party, like red and white wine glasses or champagne flutes.
Stock the Bar Theme: Every guest is assigned a different kind of liquor, like vodka or brandy. As gifts, guests not only bring their assigned liquor, but the appropriate glasses to serve them in. Guests can also bring bar ware, like corkscrews, trendy drink coasters, ice buckets, muddlers, strainers or shakers.
